Σχετικά με νεο cd του Morrissey

Αγόρασε κανένας το You are the quarry - το τελευταίο προσωπικό άλμπουμ του Morrissey; Νομίζω ότι είναι το καλύτερό του μετά από τη διάλυση των smiths. Αποδεικνύει ότι ψυχή των smiths δεν ήταν ΄μόνο ο Marr όπως πολλοί υποστηρίζουν.
Τι λέτε;

Δεν πιστεύω ότι είναι το καλύτερο cd του Μορρισσευ. Το Vauxhall and I είναι το καλύτερο του για εμένα. Λίγο εμπορικό ήταν το τελευταίο σε σχέση με τα προηγούμενα. Πολύ καλό όμως! Το καλύτερο της χρονιάς στο top 10 μου! Και εγώ περιμένω για καμιά συναυλία, αλλά δεν το βλέπω...
Πάντως γράφει ακόμα φοβερούς στίχους.

Καταρχήν έμαθα τον Morissey από αυτό το κομμάτι. Ούτε τον ήξερα τον άνθρωπο... Και μια σκέψη που έκανα όταν πρωτοάκουσα το κομμάτι ήταν "πως να λέγεται αυτό το νέο γκρουπ;"... ¶σχετος έτσι;

Πάντως το συγκεκριμένο κομμάτι το ακούω καιρό και είναι μέσα στις 3-4 πρώτες επιλογές μου από ξένη μουσική το τελευταίο τρίμηνο. Στην πρώτη θέση είναι το Blackfield

Δεν θα αναλύσω τους στίχους, αλλά παραθέτω ένα απόσπασμα απο μια συνεντευξή του που ίσως σε βοηθήσει να καταλάβεις πως σκέφτεται και τι πιθανώς θέλει να πει:

οι συντεύξεις του Morrissey πάντως είναι διασκεδαστικές τουλάχιστον.Είναι φοβερός και κατά τη γνώμη μου σωστός σε όσα λέει (και) στο συγκεκριμένο απόσπασμα. Γεγονός είναι ότι η Αγγλία τον απογοήτευσε...Ηταν λίγο κολλημένος στην παλιά ρομαντική όψη της Αγγλίας. Μέχρι και εθνικιστή τον είχαν βγάλει παλαιότερα...What can I say?

Όντως είναι απλά..απολαυστικός!! Δεν φοβαται να πει ανοιχτά αυτά που σκέφτεται και πιστεύει, και αυτό μου αρέσει. Ασε που για άγγλος έχει τρομερό χιουμορ!! Και οι στίχοι του το αποδυκνείουν! Η αλήθεια είναι πως φαίνεται και από το απόσπασμα της συνέντευξης αλλα και απο το συγκεκριμένο τραγούδι, είναι περίφανος για την καταγωγή του (και όπως είπες meryl το 1992 είχε γίνει και μεγάλη φασαρία και τον κατηγορούσαν οτι ειναι ρατσιστής), αλλά απογοητευμένος με την κατάσταση στην οποία βρίσκεται σήμερα όχι μόνο η Αγγλία και η Αμερική , αλλα γενικότερα ο κόσμος μας.

Σοφια μου, τωρα εζαλισες με για τα καλα. Σε ευχαριστω ομως. Το προβλημα ειναι οτι τα αγγλικα μου ειναι του δρομου (ε, και τα ελληνικα μου το ιδιο) αλλα νομιζω οτι εποιασα το νοημα. Να' σαι καλα.

Το ''those teethΦ'' φαντάζομαι εννοείς πως σε μπερδεψε! Αυτο με μπερδεψε κι εμένα ,αλλα είναι προφανώς τυπογραφικό λάθος. Απλά έκανα copy-paste! Aλλά αφού το έπιασες το νόημα, no worries! Να 'σαι καλά

Σήμερα το πήρα. Εχει ένα φτωχό εξώφυλλο και ένα φτηνιάρικο booklet, όμως ποντάρω στα 18 τραγούδια που περιέχει. Αναμένετε εντυπώσεις.
