Hollow Haze-The Hanged Man...

"..Hollow Haze formed in 2003 by Nick Savio and Paolo Veronese with the common idea to put together a new original "Hard & Heavy” sound.
Matt Cingano joined soon the group and, after some sessions at Remaster Studio, the soul of the band was strongly outlined.
The most important thing was the singer: the band looked for somebody with talent and live exeperiences, somebody who gained fans' favour on and out of stage.
First, Dan Keying from Cydonia seemed the solution, but, due to personal commitements just a fews months later the first outset album "Hollow Haze” (My Graveyard Productions – 2006), he was replaced by Ivan Rave, who now is the official new singer of the band.
At the end of 2006 another member came into the new Hollow Haze MK II: the Keyboard player Simon Scar who finally completed the band.
In the beginning of 2008 a new era...Fabio Perini and Max Cassol joined the band. Hollow Haze MK III is completed.
HOLLOW HAZE offers an Hard Rock Metal sound mixed with a screaming, warm melodic voice and deep intensive chorus where the listeners can find many different music backgrounds taken from the past metal glories and from the modern rock compositions. Thanks to their professionality the group face every music style and innovations, trying to be competitive in the world-wide stage..."

Pain-Cynic Paradise...

Swedish metallers PAIN will release their new album, "Cynic Paradise", on October 31 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to "Psalms of Extinction", which was released in 2007 via Roadrunner, features "eleven gems offering a vast variety of styles and influences which are even new for PAIN," according to a press release. NIGHTWISH singer Anette Olzon makes a guest appearance on two tracks — "Follow Me" and "Feed Us". The artwork (see below) was created by renowned artist Travis Smith (AMORPHIS, OPETH, NEVERMORE).

"...Jonas Hellborg launches a new platform for integration of east and west, a project called Art Metal. Borrowing the aesthetic of contemporary metal expanded with Indian and jazz improvisational disciplines, it is a proposal for what a new musical canvas could be. Edguy-Tinnitus Sanctus...

German melodic metal band EDGUY will release its new album, "Tinnitus Sanctus", in Europe on November 14 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD, which will be issued in North America in early 2009, was recorded at Gate Studios in Wolfsburg, Germany with producer Sascha Paeth.

"...Former Tea Party front man Jeff Martin and legendary percussionist Wayne Sheehy are on a mission. With their newly formed rock'n'roll powerhouse, The Armada, the dynamic duo are set to launch an attack on the aural landscape, mixing the captured audio slaves of numerous campaigns into a set of wholly new material for release in the Autumn. Drawing on the pairs vast experience of both studio and live performance, this album is a declaration of intent. Yes, the culmination of months of work, but only the beginning of the real campaign, getting out on the road and storming the gates of complacency. This is where east meets west, past meets future, now meets then, light meets shade, they shake hands and slug it out.

Following on from his time as band leader with Canadian three piece The Tea Party, Jeff Martins move to Ireland has yielded a creative spurt in the seminal guitarists psyche. Blending his love of balls to wall rock with his enduring fascination with middle eastern, Indian and Turkish music, the spark blossomed to a flame once his new studio, Kingdom, was completed. Nestled in the hills overlooking Dunmanus Bay, Jeff has created an analogue wonderland, free from the computerised enhancements of so much of todays music scene. Old school mic techniques, an array of exotic instruments and good ol' performance capturing is what makes this place tick. And it ticks like a time bomb.

And when the bomb goes off, the sound you will hear is the thundering drums of Wayne Sheehy. Having cut his teeth with cult Irish band Cactus World News, and following up with an illustrious career as skin man to the likes of Ronnie Wood and Bo Diddley, Waynes awesome force behind a kit is the perfect compliment to Jeffs searing guitar work. Even as an acoustic two piece ( the pair having been touring with this set up for the past two years), they are a sight and sound to behold. No half measures here, every gig is a flat out tornado of passion, refined in its content, raucous in its delivery..."
