orfeus, συμφωνώ με όσα λες για τον dylan, αλλά θέλω να ξεκαθαρίσω κάτι. οι αλλαγές των συγχορδιών που δεν τιs περιμένε κανείς και ο αυτοσχεδιασμός είναι στοιχεία της jazz που υπήρχαν πριν απο τον dylan. για παράδειγμα η billie holliday δεν έλεγε ποτέ ένα τραγούδι με τον ίδιο τρόπο, της φαινόταν αγγαρεία, και η holliday (όπως και πολλοί άλλοι) υπήρχε πριν απο τον dylan. ο dylan άκουγε billie holiday.
ακόμα, ναί τα blues ήταν ένα αναμενόμενο δωδεκάμετρο αλλά οι blues-ίστες ήταν διαφορετικοί μεταξύ τους και δεν μπορούμε να πούμε πως τα blues είναι όλη η jazz.
και ναί, ο dylan έχει φέρει τα πάνω κάτω στη σύγχρονη μουσική και είναι απο τους πρώτους Αμερικάνους που εντόπισαν το κάτι άλλο, το διαφορετικό, το αληθινό στην Αφρικανο-Αμερικάνικη παράδοση (και τα blues μέσα).
επίσης o dylan μπόρεσε να ερμηνεύσει τα σημάδια των καιρών, το όλο λογοτεχνικό ρεύμα των beatniks. συχνά αναφέρεται στο on the road του kerouac, στον ginsberg.
συμπέρασμα: σεβασμό προς το δωδεκάμετρο των blues, εντάξει???!!!
Μα...δεν υποτιμώ ούτε τα δωδεκάμετρα ούτε το ...blues.
Αντίθετα, είπα ότι ο Dylan έχει μέσα του το blues.
Γι' αυτόν, το blues είναι παράδοση.
Δεν είναι ανώδυνο και φυσικά το σέβομαι!!!!

Ισχύει το ένα, ισχύει και το άλλο...εν μέρει...πάντως ισχύει!!!
Έγραψα ότι η blues μουσική, δεν είναι ανώδυνη για να την περάσει κάποιος "ντούκου".
-Παίζει και ο Dylan blues.
-Παίζει και ο Dylan δωδεκάμετρα.
Αλλά....
Ο Dylan (ακόμα και στο δωδεκάμετρο), δεν είναι ούτε αναμενόμενος, ούτε και προβλέψιμος!!!
Γι' αυτό είναι Σπουδαίος.
Γιατί πήρε τις "ρίζες" του και τις άπλωσε σ' όλο τον κόσμο!!!!!

Νομίζω ότι η Ρεβέκκα θα το διαβάσει πιο πρώτα.

το πρώτο κεφάλαιο είναι πολύ ωραίο, και εκεί που νομίζεις πως θα προχωρίσει στον πρώτο του δίσκο, σε πάει πίσω, σε μια βιβλιοθήκη και τα βιβλία που του έκαναν εντύπωση. τωρα πάω να δω τι γίνεται μετά...
υ.γ. σιγά μην έμενες χωρίς να απαντήσεις για τα blues, αλλά εγώ την επισήμανσή μου την έκανα

Αυτό το τραγούδι είναι γραμμένο για τον Rubin “Hurricane” Carter, έναν πυγμάχο που πέρασε 19 χρόνια στη φυλακή. Ο Carter κατηγορήθηκε για τον φόνο 3 λευκών, που πυροβολήθηκαν σε ένα μπάρ στο New Jersey, στις 16 Ιουλίου του 1967. Η αστυνομία έψαχνε 2 έγχρωμους άντρες και σταμάτησε τον Carter και τον φίλο του John Artis. Μετα απο 8 χρόνια φυλάκισης, ο Carter έστειλε στον Dylan την αυτοβιογραφία του. Ο Dylan τον επισκέφθηκε στη φυλακή πεπεισμένος για την αθωότητά του, και έγραψε το “Hurricane.”
Σε τουρνέ με την Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell και την Roberta Flack, ο Dylan μάζεψε περισσότερα απο $100 000 για την υπεράσπιση του Carter, σε συναυλία στο Madison Square Garden, μια μέρα μετά την επίσκεψη του στη φυλακή.
Οι προσπάθειες του Dylan έφεραν την υπόθεση ξανά στο προσκήνιο, αλλά σε νέα δίκη το 1976, ο Carter ξανακαταδικάστηκε. Ο Carter έμεινε στη φυλακή μέχρι το 1984, χρονιά που η κατηγορίες του καταρίφθηκαν.
H ιστορία του Carter είναι επίσης και το θέμα της ταινίας “Hurricane”, όπου ο Denzel Washinghton έχει το ρόλο του πυγμάχου (1999).

Έτσι έχουν τα πράγματα γι' αυτό το τραγούδι.
Υπάρχει βέβαια και ο αντίλογος.
Μία ανάλυση που είχα αρχίσει να γράφω και την άφησα στη μέση.
Είναι τεράστια.
Αναζητείται ....χρόνος!!!
Συγγγνωμη που αργησα τοσο πολυ να σας απαντησω γιατι, μαθητης βλεπετε, ο ελευθερος χρονος ποσο μαλλον ο χρονος στο διαδικτυο ειναι περιορισμενος, μου κινησε το ενδιαφερον επειδη εχει περιεργο ρυθμο που λιγο δυσκολο να τον παιξω εγω στην κιθαρα και επειδη μου αρεσε ο τιτλος του και καποια απο τα λογια που καταλαβα.. Ευχαριστω παντως για την αναλυσουλα και θα περιμενω την πιο ανεπτυγμενη χωρις να θελω να σε παρεξηγησω revekkkkkkkkka!
