My love, why did you leave me
Why didn't you stay
Why did you just get up and walk away?

How could you give up
Without telling me what you wanted to say?

Why wont you tell me
What's been buried down so deep below?

Why does a man act like he has no soul?

You know I tried, I tried a lot,
to make you a part of my plot.
But at the end of the day
you kept pushing me away.

I said “I love you” in a thousand ways.
But you denied listening.
When I was there with my actions,
you just wanted to hear my empty words.

When I was trying to keep it alive,
when I was suffering every night,
you made your decision
and turned off the light.

So, don’t ask me why.
Look inside the mirror and then retry.
